I don’t get excited about much musically these days. The radio gets avoided like the plague, let’s not get started on the current state of “music television”.
What has been exciting me are these recent releases from Gummy Soul. Amerigo Gazaway, the musician behind the Fela Soul mashup, released a video teaser as well as the first single from the project today. Titled “Bizarre Tribe: A Quest to The Pharcyde”, the project combines reinterpreted ATCQ instrumentals with select verses from The Pharcyde. Gummy Soul will be releasing more related to the project before its release on September 13th. Watch above and stream/download below.
